Just finished this painting of a horse out at Rancho del Sol Dorado. Most of the details are concentrated around the horse. The rest is painted pretty loosely, but with careful consideration to the relationships between the values.

This picture is beautiful!
a horse in the blistering heat! once again you've nailed both beautifully in paint.
Pretty nice, the control of lgiht and shade values are so subtle.
Congratulations from Barcelona, Spain.
Beautiful drawing and your control of the values is the key to this impressive image.
Values say it all!!
Just wonderful!
Hi Frank!... Another couple of great pictures. Values are perfect... wonderful colour as usual and great structure overall!

Wonderful, Frank! I particularly like that you placed tiny bits of red in the focal area...nice grabber!
Well done, my friend!
The way you handle whites and shadows- so tranquil and beautiful.
Another rich piece Frank.
And the values are dead on, I must say!
That being said, it reminds me of a scene from an old movie, where Jon Saxon is playing a Mexican who says to Marlon Brando, "Come een! Ab a dreen weed oss!"
Good stuff, I'm tryin' to say.
I love it.
Also, like A Decker's Spanish accent ;)
Landed here and was ever so glad !
there is just nothing quite so comforting as a scene with a horse in it! even though it looks very hot.
It feels like you appreciate the beauty of it all, thanks!
