There is something intriguing about doors. Doors are all over the world. Doors lead somewhere. They keep things in, they keep things out. Doors have histories, stories, mystery. Let's share some.
I would like to invite anyone who would like to join with me and Elizabeth, from "The House in Marrakesh", in doing a blog post about doors.
It will be fun, and interesting, if lots of us posted photos, paintings, drawings, poems etc. about doors. Your choice. It just has to be about doors.
We will all be posting next Wednesday 12th.
So far bloggers from Morocco, Norway, USA, Mexico, Finland and a few other countries will be posting.
Here's the deal.
(A). make your intention to join us known to me, or Elizabeth, through a comment posted here or on " The House in Marrakesh" blog, or send one of us an email. That way we can keep track of who is going to be posting.
(B). Get your post together and ready and post it on your blog on Wednesday the 12th. It has to really be something about Doors.
(C). Everyone should include in their post, links to all of those participating, so we can all share our posts. Don't just post the list, it is a pain to have to copy and paste all of the names to roll through them all. Let us know by say, Monday? so we can get the list to everyone else.
(D). If you have a suggestion, go ahead and make it. This is a group thing.

Frank, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this idea. Count me in!
I came across your blog through Constance at Rochambeau...! RE; Doors...I then went to THe House in Marrakesh! this is fun! I live in Charleston SC and we have doors, haha! Your paintings are marvelous. So nice to meet you!
I meant to say that I would love to join in on the Doors project!
I would like to participate in the door day on March 12th. This is a great idea! Thanks for the "invite". :-) I'm looking forward to great reading/viewing...
Hi Faye, I'm glad that you want to join in. I'll let you know when we have a list together.
Hi Pam. Nice to meet you too. Charleston does have a lot of great doors. I look forward to seeing what you post. We'll let you know when we have a list.
Great Joanne, now we will have some Canadian doors. Unless you want to post doors from somewhere else. That would be o.k. too.
Same as above on the list. Will let you know.
I'm in. Love the idea and am totally intrigued by doors and windows.
Great Mary, I'll count you in. Which blog will you use for the post?
I have written down Pam, Faye and Mary's web sites on my list I'm compiling. Will add Joanne.
Will probably post list on Tues?
This is fun but getting complicated..........
Constance at Rochambeau did a post on it - also Jennifer at Art Words Life
I love the idea and would love to share doors! and happy to have discovered you too!!!
Frank--count me in! I'm not sure what you mean "include links in your post." Perhaps when you send out the list of participants, you can instruct those of us not quite up to speed how to do that. Great idea! Every once in a while it would be fun to do this on other subjects, too.
Hi! Nice to meet you. Came over from Elizabeth. She asked me if I would do the door post and I have agreed.
must come back and read your blog and look at your paintings.
Have spent time in Mexico in 1960 in the Veracruz area.
Great Stephanie. It is nice to have you on board. Do we have your blog address so we can add you to the list?
Hi Jack. I am glad that you will join us. I am going to post photos of doors.
Hello Barbara. Nice to meet you as well. I have not seen your blog yet, but I will look for it. I am glad that yoou will be joining us. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.
Hi Frank - I found your blog through Faye Christian Phillips, nice to meet you and get to see your work! I'd love to participate in the door project, so count me in too. Like Jack, I'm not sure how to do the links, so information on that will help too.
Great Terry, we will count you in. I am not a tech wizard. I do links the hard way. I cut and paste a link from an old post and change the http and new link name. There is a way to do it on your edit posts page, but I can never get it to work.
I'll try and help you guys with it.
Maybe if I made the links and posted them anyone who wanted to could copy and paste them into their post.
Thanks, Frank - I'll probably figure out the links one way or another. This door project is really a fabulous idea, what a great way to help us become more of a community! Hope there will be more projects like this in the future.
Dear Frank, I just left a message with Elizabeth and thank you for this invite! I am here via Constance and look forward to what thresholds we might cross on Wednesday!
Great Lea, I will work on getting your info into the links that I have posted.
Elizabeth told me about the cahllenge and I also participated in with a "door" photo.

Thanks Willow, I will be visiting when I get a chance.
Bayou Contessa. I don't have your blog address. Maybe it is with one of the other lists.
What beautiful colors - blue, orange, yellow. So bright. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.
HI Leah, Yes, aren't these great colors. They are catching a little reflected light from the orange and yellow walls across the street too.
