We wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and Holiday Season. May 2008 be a great year for all. Let's pray for LOTS of changes and good things for ALL.
No matter where you live, what you look like or what you believe in.
I made this nativity scene a few years ago. It is made with a little bit of wire, newspaper and LOTS of masking tape. The tape is starting to get old and each year I need to fix them because they are falling apart. The material makes the life span of this project fairly short I am afraid.
Our daughter, Erin, was almost two at the time and REALLY got into helping me with this. She is a good taper. Maybe that is why she loves to tape and glue so much now. I think if Santa brought her some tape and glue sticks she would be happy.
Well, maybe.
I think my favorite is the Drummer Boy.
Drummer Boy with Shepperd, Lamb, Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus.
The Three Kings with their offerings.

Wonderful! Merry Christmas to you and your family Frank. I wish you all the best in 2008.
Wow!! Strange medium, but I have to say they're very well sculpted!! My favorite has to be the camel. How long have you been working on these? Over the years?
How creative! What a cool project--and one your daughter will always remember helping you with. It does indeed prove that imagination is more important than the materials used.
Merry Christmas Frank,
Faye
Thanks Eric, same to you. I hope that you have a great 2008.
I like the camel too Ambera. It took me three or four days to make them all. Then each year I spend a few hours fixing them up. The tape is becoming old and undone.
Thanks Faye, I hope that you had a great Christmas.
Y'know, Frank, this blogging business has sure introduced me to some really great people! This father daughter project and its root meanings is a testament to your character! I am very impressed with not only the artistic and creative side of this, but the underlying messages you are giving your daughter, too!
Happy New Year to you and your family, Frank. Let's make this coming year one to remember!
Right you are Mike. I have met some great people in the few months that I have been bloggin'.
Yes, let's make '08 a year to remember.
