"Terra Nova" - I'm back

Have not posted in a long time. I'm still around. Painting, and taking a break from just posting stuff as soon as I finish it here on the blog. I'll eventually get it all up here for you to see.

Some of what I have been painting is for a two person show that I will be in with Gladys Roldan de Moras. The show will be at the M Gallery of Fine Art in Sarasota, FL on Nov. 5th. I will also be teaching a 5 day plain air painting workshop in Sarasota Nov. 8th through 12th. The cost is $600. and you can now sign up by contacting Crystal at the M Gallery. cwagner@mgalleryoffineart.com

I am heading to Sarasota Florida at the end of this month to paint with Marc Hanson for a few days. He is going to teach me how to be gator bait. I have never painted in Florida before and I'm looking forward to the challenge of some new scenery.

This painting is a painting I just finished of a boat in Provincetown harbor.

You've never been gone from my mind, Frank!!! Someone just said on a recent blog post that I must have really learned a few tricks from you.. Gosh I hope so.... I took your class TWICE.... You tried hard enough... LOL ;o)

All I can say is lucky, lucky people who take your class in Florida!!!

This boat scene is amazing!!!

AND.... I hope Marc doesn't really use you for gator bait... You know they are more ubiquitous in Florida than the rattlers are in Mexico!!!

Hi Michael, thanks. No, it's a studio piece. Will be on the Cape painting before too long though.

Thanks Claire, glad you like the sky.

Well, when I saw April 7th as my last blog post Marian I realized how long it had been. You are really doing some nice things these days. I can't take the credit for that. Your just working hard at it.
Yeah, I'll tie Marc's shoelaces together so he trips when he tries to run and they get him first.

Hey there Frank!... Glad to see
"You" back posting! Looks as if "I" am amongst a legion of Frank Followers... who have awaited your return... on "baited" breath!

This Provincetown piece is one of my favourites... truly... a Gardner gem... no crown jewel!!

Lucky dog to be pushin' paint with Marc Hanson... another marvelous plein air master...whose work and work ethic... I deeply admire!

Good painting!... Good sales.... and Good workshopping!

Really like the motion in this piece: into the painting w/ the dock reflection, up the dock pillars, across the dock, into and down the boat, then around. I went to Sarasota once in '69!

Thanks Stephen. Sarasota was really great. Lots of painting and lots of peel and eat shrimp.
