September 13 - mini series painting

One mini painting for today.
This is a procesion that passed by up the street from our house. Lots of people walking and on horseback. All in celebration of the Dia de Guadalupe on Dec. 12th.

Great painting Frank, I agree with Rusty, on a 6x6"! Wow! So how in the heck does one ever get one's hands on one of the little Mexican gems? Email you. Do you post same time everyday, or just when you get it all ready?

Thanks Rusty. Yes, RS Hanna is now open.

Thank you Karen.

Hi Debra, thanks. I try and post them around 8PM central when I have some. Usually I can't get them on line much before that and I try to not post them later than 9PM. The first email I get about purchasing gets it.

I'm amazed it's a 6x6 too! I know it ain't in the brush, but can you tell me what kind, size brush you used? I'm trying to get looser with my strokes, but for me right now that means painting big, so I can whip my brush around more freely-room to move, I guess!
Thanks!

Hi Judy, the brushes are pretty small on these. Plus palette knife and wiping, scraping etc...
I use a small round white nylon brush or two and a few small bristle brushes. I'll try and get a picture of a few of them up before too long so you can see them.
